What are dyelots?Updated 2 years ago

A dyelot is an allowance of fabric dyed at one time. Because dyeing is a delicate chemical process consisting of sensitive materials and temperatures, no two dyelots are exactly the same. When dresses are ordered or purchased separately, there is a slight chance they will not be from the same dyelot, and may have a very slight color variation. Jenny Yoo has a strict color standard that all dyelots are held to in order to insure that dyelot variation is as unnoticeable as possible, even if ordered separately.
